Limehouse Studios, originally built as Poplar Technical College, has been used as artists’ studios since 1994. This large building offers 60 studios and workshops spread across four floors, providing a variety of spaces for artists with different practices. The 30,000 square feet of space features excellent natural light and high ceilings, with many studios overlooking the Limehouse Cut canal, linking the Lee Navigation to the Thames.

Open 24/7, Limehouse Studios houses a diverse community of artists, with the building also offering a spacious car park and good access for deliveries.

Studio G12, a unique self-contained ground-floor studio, is available for hire. This studio has large windows, high ceilings, and excellent access via a double door loading bay, making it suitable for creative and light industrial uses, including artists, photographers, filmmakers, designers, and makers who need both production and office space on one site.
