ACAVA Hosts: Three Counties Open Residency is a career development opportunity for emerging artists with a connection to Staffordshire, Chesire or Shropshire to be based at our studio community in Stoke-on-Trent.

The residencies offer the use of a studio and professional development opportunities within a thriving community of established artists and creatives at ACAVA Spode Works Studios.

ACAVA Hosts: Three Counties Open Residency is a project run in partnership with Keele University and Three Counties Open Art Exhibition.

How to apply

Every year, three artists-in-residence are selected from the pool of artists who apply to the Three Counties Open exhibition. The next round of applications will take place in spring/summer 2025. Check the competition’s website for more details.
