The Big Give: Double your donation 19-26 March

We are thrilled to be taking part in this year’s The Big Give: Arts for Impact, a fundraising campaign where arts charities will have their donations doubled between 19-26 March.
Our champion organisation is Stoke Creates, an inclusive engine for artistic, creative and cultural participation across Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire, working towards a common goal of achieving place-based regeneration for future generations. Stoke Creates has committed to £5,000 in match funding.
About our campaign:
Creativity can transform lives. From helping with mental health to improving social skills, arts and culture can have a huge, meaningful impact. ACAVA is an award-winning arts education charity (287894) that works with artists to unlock the creative potential of individuals and communities with transformational impacts on health and wellbeing. A 2023 UCL study showed that engaging with the arts improved wellbeing for an astonishing 82% of people in deprived communities.
Your donation will:
- Provide opportunities for more people to take part in creative activities and enjoy better health and wellbeing.
- Support creative practitioners and young people from under-represented backgrounds to access training, experience and networks which will help them develop their careers.
We want to make sure that all people have access to creative opportunities at all stages of life, whether amateur or professional, familiar or new to the arts.
