Skill Up: Woodworking

Skill Up is a programme of eight specialist skills courses running from Maxilla Men’s Shed, our North Kensington makerspace. Join in and learn a range of techniques from silverwork to printmaking.
Dates: 10, 11, 17, 18, 24 and 25 May
Times: 10am–1pm
Work with James Torble over six sessions to build a three-legged stool to take home. Work with hardwoods, learn about round mortise, tenon joints and staked furniture such as traditional Welsh stick and Windsor chairs. View James’ website here.
