Join us for a four-day workshop led by artist Anu Bankole, where you’ll learn a range of techniques to design and create sculptural wearable art and accessories using recycled materials.
The workshop covers both traditional and contemporary approaches, offering hands-on guidance to bring your ideas to life in sustainable, wearable forms.
- Day 1: Inspiration development and initial prototyping
- Day 2: Deconstructing and reconstructing used materials into workable forms
- Day 3: Surface design techniques, materials research, and curation
- Day 4: Completing your final wearable art sculpture piece
Priority spaces on our Make and Reuse programme are offered to the North Kensington community. Spaces on this course are limited, we will notify you if you have been allocated a place.

About Anu Bankole
Anu is a product and accessories technician at the London College of Fashion (UAL), with a background as a sustainable product pattern cutter, designer, and maker.
Anu is dedicated to sustainable and innovative practices, using unique materials to create products and accessories. As a skilled accessories designer and leatherworker, Anu merges traditional techniques with cutting-edge sustainable concepts to craft pieces that are both artistically expressive and functional. Her work not only addresses everyday needs with efficient design solutions but also aims to inspire change in individuals and within the wider creative industry.
