A Flourish Manifesto: valuing what we do and why we do it

Flourish is ACAVA’s free family art programme launched days before the Grenfell Tower Fire and has since been defined by that event. Seven years later, our colleagues Lisa Nash (Curator, Social Practice) and Isabella Niven (Head of Social Practice) sit down to reflect on the core Flourish values of Authenticity, Discovery, Exploration, Play and Wellbeing and wrote a Flourish manifesto.

Grenfell Memorial Community Mosaic

Co-created by different community, resident, faith and school groups along with individual participants under the guidance of mosaic artists Emily Fuller and Tomomi Yoshida, the project has enabled people to connect and to memorialise the Grenfell Tower fire
